QUESTION: How did you feel when you first heard that you had Crohn's disease?
BUDDY: Confused! I wasn't like mad or felt bad that I had it, because I knew there was something wrong with me. Maybe if we did something earlier I could have stopped it, but I knew at one point there was like no stopping it, because I knew whatever I had, I was going to have to live with that for a while. And you can't say I was happy or anything that I had it, even with all of the medicines that I got- at one point, I took 21 pills for one day. And it just was like, I know I have the pills for it, they're not making it go away, but they're just making it feel better. That was better than nothing at that point.
