Interviewer: Do think having asthma limits Billy or Verdo in any way?
Mother: Well, I will say it does limit them. Verdo is actually allergic to grass, and during the summer, the pollen, the grass-so it does limit them. But we find ways to go around it. If Verdo goes out and plays in the grass, or it's summer, when he comes in we just take the clothes off and then he's OK. And we take our meds. It's very important that you do stick with the plan, the action plan that you have, the medication that your children are supposed to take. Even if they're not actually having an episode, it's very important that you do stick with the controllers. That's very important.
