Interviewer: How did you feel when you were told your boys were being diagnosed with having asthma?
Mother: The boys were finally diagnosed with asthma, but when they were diagnosed we were given medication. At that particular time, because of being in the emergency room, it wasn't a great bit of time to explain about asthma, and what we should expect, and triggers-none of that knowledge was administered to us at that time. You have to realize that the children were very young and you're afraid, and I was afraid to administer the medication.
