Interviewer: What are some of the misconceptions you think other kids have about asthma?

Billy: Sometimes with some of my new friends, like when I go to play with them, they say stuff like, "Oh, you have asthma: it's contagious!" Then I tell them that it's not contagious, and then they understand why I have asthma and stuff. I have to tell them a lot of stuff but it ain't that bad because I like talking and it's fun. So I just tell them, "I might get sick, but I'm not going to give it to you because it's not contagious," and people know now that it's not.
