INTERVIEWER: Do you think having ADHD will affect you when you go to college?

MICHAELA: I remember I used to worry. First of all, my parents used to say, if I forgot my medicine, “Now what are we going to do when you go to college? You expect us to call you every morning and ask you if you took your medicine?” I used to worry, really, “What is going to happen when I go to college? I’m never going to remember my medicine if I don’t remember it when they’re nagging me.” But I’ve gotten much better at it ‘cause I guess maybe the nagging, after like 15 years, sort of just sank in.
