INTERVIEWER: When did you start to notice that Michaela’s behavior was different from others’ her age?

MOM: When she was probably in nursery school—about three years old.

INTERVIEWER: What did you notice?

MOM: Just that she seemed unable to sit still in nursery school, even with the smallest tasks. If they were sitting down to do a little coloring project, she would always want to be up and doing something else, running around the room.
